Do you have reasons for you oppinions ?

Why do we lack the capacity to develop a clear, concise and coherent argumentation ? Most of my friends have no idea to sustain their ideas with reasons, not just opinions. Some of them do it unconsciously. It is the best way. If you sit and analyse every reason, its place and the introduction of it in the sentence ... it all takes time and premeditation, that takes away the spontaneity of the moment and it looks like you've written your speech at home.

It is so easy to state "that looks bad", "that is stupid", "that is the best". It is the best because of what ? can you state 3 reasons for that ? The infomercial doesn't count. Can you think for yourself ? I believe that is what it all comes down to.

Other's people's thoughts are easier to remember than building you own. You have to think, make connections, research when you're not sure.. Instead, we choose the right answer : take a pre-packed package and deliver it like it's you own. You will win time, that you would've spent before choosing a word or a tone, also you will have the advantage of appearing intelligent... or dump, depends if the person you talk to is familiar with you source of opinions or not.

I can say that is a matter of choice... but is it ? It today's 24 rush hour world... can you still have time to think for yourself, double-check any information and still have a job, a family and etc. We have to admit that most of pur perception on the world is second-hand. That is another topic.
