When do you know you are growing up?
How do know when the process is beginning or ending?
Is it ever?
The other day I found myself thinking of weird things, such as the future, making plans, see myself in certain places, doing things… Seeing myself in the future... such a weird thing.
There is one thing making plans to go to the sea-side to party or anything else that involves having fun, getting drunk and partying until dawn. How about the plans that you have to work for, decide on them ahead and communicate with other people that might be affected.
Funny thing this growing up… thinking of other people’s need also… wow, are there any other people in the world beside me? Does anybody else matter? Somebody told me once I am extremely selfish for deciding to leave
Maybe it is normal to believe you are the centre of the universe. Small children surely have no idea about any of this balance. The more you realise how small and insignificant you are in this world, the more you become aware the world, in fact, revolves around the sun.
How do you know when you crossed to the other side? Is it when you make the first sandwich for anybody else than yourself? Maybe the first time you give up something you want for a long time to just spend time with the other significant one? Maybe when you know that nothing would be quite as extraordinary without sharing it with someone who loves the exact same thing as you.
