what would you do if money was no object?

Alan Watt's gives a speech on what would you like to do if money was no object, on what people desire and what makes them happy.

This is a idealistic way of looking at things, but it's one of those ways of looking at life that is very much appealing. Reaching this sort of zen state of self-fulfilment.

Like most things, it is relatively easy to talk about it and harder to actually put into practise. How do you know what makes you happy? How do you prioritise? Especially when you're 16-18 and you whole education and life is being laid out in front of you, all the choices you make are extremely important and have consequences for the next 50 years of your life.

But there is no way of knowing of what life is going to bring and what kind of person you're going to become. Because at that age you're just starting to find your feet. And you might as well reach your 30s and despite playing to the plan and following the route that you've set out for your future, you're at different person completely at 30. And your needs or wants might change and then what is left?

Questions. Unanswered questions about who you are who you want to be.
