I normally smile at people and they smile back at me. When a flight attendant asked me what drink I want, I smiled and I said "can I have some orange juice please?" In my normal polite, but friendly way. And it took so much energy to smile that right after I got my drink I started crying.
Crying in an airplane over the blue sky in front of me at 7,315 meters or 24,000 feet and 200 km away from London over the North Sea.
Crying in a plane surrounded by all these people makes me feel more isolated than ever.
I feel sick. I have barely eaten all weekend because my body just couldn't digest anything. My stomach has been cramped with so many thoughts and emotions in these past 2 days that there is simply no more space for anything else.
